Growing up in Alaska, it seemed that having a love of fashion, beauty products and girly-girl stuff was an anomaly in such a remote landscape. I remember when shopping options were very limited (I also remember when Northway Mall was new...okay I'm dating myself) and chapstick was the beauty option of choice. Anchorage today, however, is a shoe of a different color-and if the shoe fits, I'm gonna wear it! This blog will celebrate all the fabulous and fashionista-driven finds in our fair city, as well as beauty product reviews, how-to's and whatever else comes to mind. Enjoy!
